July 20 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Kids ages 7-10 are invited to discover the fascinating world of Florida’s insects! Learn about what makes insects different from other animals, where they live, and their role in the food web. We’ll use Florida’s most well-known insect, the mosquito, as a model. Kids will get to have a look at a variety of insects under the microscope and then we will venture onto the trails for a bug hunt to see what insects we can find at the Preserve!
This a drop-off program for kids and space is limited to 12 participants so pre-registration is required.
